Finally, a Brocante......
At last, the long winter days are lifting, and the first (and biggest) brocante arrived...
and, yes it was worth getting up in the dark and going snuffling out treasures with torches in the early hours of the morning!
Not for a long time have I seen so much fur, it was -6° and all the ladies from Bordeaux were dressed in floor length fur to ward off the cold and all stood clutching either their recently purchased antique dolls, or small dogs in handbags. Bizarre at 7am.

Fabulous folds (and finds)
I keep coming across these beautiful cushions at the local Brocantes. They must take days to make, there is only one seam, and the fabric folds are all sewn in place by hand!
