Back to reality....

So, 3 wonderful weeks in India are over, and we are back in France. Reinvigorated for a New Year, and a new set of ideas, starting with these street patterns from Tamil Nadu. Painted by hand, before dawn each day, so that good luck passes into each household, they have an addictive and beautiful mesmerising quality that I could not resist. Somehow I will find a way to replicate them for our gîte guests this coming summer!

I have spent a busy weekend getting ready for the Christmas markets next weekend at Aubeterre and Longeveau. Pin cushion teacups in all shapes and sizes, a great present idea! See you all there xxx

Vive La France!

We went out yesterday for a beautiful French meal, and reminded ourselves why we are so lucky to live in France. Xx

Birthday flowers

My lovely French neighbours came around with the most beautiful bunch of flowers from their garden, for my birthday.
