I thought it was about time I made myself a new bag, instead of just selling them to other people!  A tricky decision when I have quite so many fabrics to choose from, so I decided to go under-stated, NOT!

Annie Sloan painting classes

So, with a selection of old wooden hooks and architraves ready at hand, I launched into my first Annie Sloan chalk paint lesson, and over the course of a couple of sessions painted and distressed and waxed various items back to life. Now I have a very happy client, inspired and confident about adding some colour into old wooden items back at home! And it was fun!

Tour de France

The Tour de France just passed by here the other day, and Villamblard looked beautiful!

Have been out and about again at the crack of dawn, and truffled some lovely old French treasures for the brocante shop. It's looking lovely again x
